"A mind that has once pushed its limits will never return to the previous ones."
As you know, I don't share much about the process and the difficulties I face. But there is one story that I want to leave here to show you the reality of the most difficult journey of my life.
It started four years ago, my first encounter with prop was with a company called ftmo. They provided the opportunity to manage amounts ranging from $100,000 to $200,000.
At that time, prop trading was not yet so popular, and many doubted its legitimacy. But my ambition made me try my hand at it. Along with ftmo, I didn't mind trying my hand at another firm. I came across funded talent at a time when it was gaining popularity quite rapidly. That's where I got my first shot...
I managed to close two live accounts there, and literally a week later, they went bust. It was a blow for me, because my dream of having $100,000 was almost in my pocket at that time.
At that time, I was still enthusiastic and made every effort to get an account at ftmo, which had a $10,000 live account, but I wanted $50,000 and more. And then a series of failures, maybe 10 in a row, my hopes were extinguished, I fell again, but I still had live, but I couldn't raise my account.
All I did was keep working, and after a while I managed to get an account worth $100,000 (I later drained this account, but that's not the point). A year later, prop trading began to flourish, dozens of new companies were born, and most of them, fortunately, were legitimate.
Mff takes an honorable second place after ftmo, and I have a goal to get the same $100,000 there. My experience in trading at that time was enough to get an account with any prop firm, because at that time I felt stable in trading for 4 years.
Then I have mixed feelings, a strange period, perhaps a turning point.
I closed two phases and received an account worth $100,000. For a long period of time, I felt comfortable and there was no acute desire to develop further.
I was completely satisfied with a hundred thousand, but later I began to realize that I was feeling uncomfortable, that I was losing my skills, and that I was not developing.
Only now I realized that that $100,000 was a confirmation of my stability, but at the same time it was my biggest enemy, which did not give me a chance to develop because it led me into a comfort zone.
Six months ago, I set a goal to scale up in this direction as much as possible. To take every prop and have from $100,000 to the maximum.
As a result, in six months I have successfully completed challenges in 5 prop firms and have a total of $1,000,000.
July turned out to be the best month in my trading history. For many people, I'm sure this result will be a "wow", but if we talk about my goals, I'm not even at the start...
+$300,000 - BlueGuardian (prop company)
+$200,000 - MFFX (prop company)
Total under management $1,500,000
